How to use

Step by step

Simple, fast and fuss-free. Apply 20–30 minutes before your session or put one on before you sleep.

01

Before

Wash and dry your nose thoroughly. The skin must be clean and dry for the adhesive to stick properly. Do not apply to irritated, sunburned or damaged skin. For best results, apply 20–30 minutes before training or activity.

02

Application

Remove the protective film without touching the adhesive. Bend the strip gently in your hand first so it follows the shape of your nose from the start. Place it horizontally across the narrowest part of the nose, just above the nostril openings, and press for 15 seconds along the whole strip — ends first, then the middle.

Placement decides. Too high and the strip sits on bone, where there is nothing to widen. See exactly where it goes.

03

During use

Use for a maximum of 12 hours per application. Stop using immediately at any sign of skin irritation, redness or discomfort.

04

Removal

Always take the strip off wet. The adhesive is strong on purpose — the strip has to stay put through a whole session, through sweat and movement. Water solves that, not force.

Soak the strip with warm water, or take it off in the shower, for about ten seconds. Then loosen the ends and peel the strip back over itself, staying close to the skin the whole way, inward toward the middle — never straight up. Still feels tight? Wet it more. Never pull harder.

Dry or sensitive skin: soak it longer, or rub a little moisturiser or petroleum jelly along the edges before you peel. In winter the skin is drier and usually needs a few seconds extra.
Adhesive residue: wash with warm water and wipe gently with a towel. If it is stubborn, rub in a little petroleum jelly or baby oil, let it sit for a moment and wipe off.

OxyCourt — correct placement

Placement

Position decides whether it does anything at all.

The strip sits across the narrowest part of the nose, just above the nostrils. That is where the passage is tightest and where a lift makes a difference. A few millimetres off and the effect is gone.

Correct placement

Correct

Horizontal across the narrowest part of the nose, just above the nostril openings. The ends lie flat against the skin all the way out.

Placed too high

Too high

Placed on the upper bridge, over the bone. There is nothing to widen there and the strip does no work.

Placed too low

Too low

Placed too close to the nostrils. It chafes, lifts off more easily and does not open where the passage is tightest.

How to find the spot: run a finger down your nose from the top. Where it narrows the most, just before it widens toward the nostrils — that is where the centre of the strip goes.
